Levels are available in two basic categories, either Optical Automatic Levels or
Digital Levels. The key difference is that ordinary optical levels require the user
to take the staff reading, while the digital versions have an electronic optical
recognition system that reads a bar coded staff at the push of a button.
Levels are generally classed by their optical magnification (for example 24x Magnification),
and by their accuracy specification (mostly referred to as “2mm plus 2ppm per Double
Km Run” for example).
Datum Automatic Levels are are industry best seller, and we offer both model ranges
and all specifications. The entry level AL series offers excellent value for money
and a 5 year warranty, while the acclaimed NA range offers a LIFETIME warranty.
