SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Location: South West

Salary: Negotiable Basic plus Car and Commission

Job Type: Permanent

Looking after our South West Region, the successful candidate will be responsible for maximising the sales, hire and service of Survey & Safety Equipment across this region. With a mixture of account management and developing new busines, the candidate will promote our market leading product range and associated services into construction and other industries. Full product training will be provided.

This role would suit a person seeking a career in construction sales with evidence of sales success in a business-to-business sales environment. Candidates will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, good IT ability and be able to negotiate and present clearly at all levels. 

Confidence, commitment and capability to sell and hire market leading positioning solutions is a must. Full ongoing product training will be provided and an attractive package including a company car is available to the right candidate.

Duties include:

  • Work as part of our external sales team to ensure that all hire, sales and service orders, enquiries, deliveries and collections are handled in an efficient, prompt and courteous manner according to customer requirements.
  • Manage existing and generate new customer accounts
  • Advise and demonstrate to customers suitable equipment for their needs
  • Provide quotations to customers for sales, hire, service work and training.
  • Provide technical support as part of our Technical Support Team
  • Help grow the customer base through proactive approaches to new customers and servicing existing accounts
  • Raise appropriate paperwork in the field for hire, sales & service transactions
  • Assist in resolving any customer account issues.
  • Work closely with our branch team to ensure all orders/enquiries are handled professionally.
  • Have the ability to work to deadlines and specific schedules
  • Attend trade shows and exhibitions as required
  • Be flexible to assist in other areas or departments as required by the company.

This is an external role and would suit someone based around or with good access to our Crawley Branch.
